Jaipur: Jaipur has become the centre of school basketball action as the CBSE Cluster-14 Inter-School Basketball Championship 2026 is being held from July 17 to 20 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium Basketball Courts. The championship has brought together 233 school teams competing in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, making it one of the largest school sporting events in the regional.
The tournament aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among students while providing young athletes with a platform to showcase their talent. More than 100 matches were played on the opening day, with host Vidyasthali Public School, Durgapura, making a winning start by defeating Vivek Techno School.
The four-day championship is expected to witness exciting contests as schools from across the CBSE Cluster-14 region battle for top honours, reinforcing the importance of school sports in nurturing future sporting talent.
