India’s Esha Singh continued her sensational run in international shooting by winning the gold medal in the women’s 25m pistol event at the ISSF World Cup 2026 in Hangzhou, China. Displaying exceptional composure and consistency throughout the final, the 21-year-old led from the very first series and finished with 40 hits, defeating China’s Zhang Yueyue (37 hits) to claim the top spot on the podium.
Adding to India’s celebrations, double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker secured the bronze medal after a closely contested final, giving India a memorable double podium finish in one of the tournament’s marquee events. The victory further strengthens India’s reputation as a global powerhouse in shooting and marks another major achievement in Esha Singh’s rapidly growing international career
